Manual controls stop the ramp. Off dismisses it. Keep the wall switch on overnight.

Pair bulb & remote
- Open pairing. Put KAJPLATS into Zigbee mode: 12 wall off/on cycles, about a second each. Look for a cold-white flash/pulse.
- Reopen pairing. Use BILRESA's recessed pairing/reset button: 8 quick presses. Keep it awake during discovery.
- When both appear, Bind remote. Press a control button repeatedly for 30 seconds. Require OnOff and Level accepted.
- Unplug XIAO: prove the remote still switches and dims the bulb. Reconnect and close pairing.
Pairing sequences can vary by revision. Save the model/log if yours does not respond.
Remote binding has not been checked.

Disconnect the console first. Same lamp layout preserves paired devices/settings. From another project, choose Clean install.
No boot connection? Hold BOOT, tap RESET, release BOOT and retry. Press RESET after flashing if needed.

Minimum before the first night: unplugged remote, complete sunrise, Off dismissal, power-on default, clock after a power cut. Mark only what you observed.
Connection & recovery help
- No USB: use a data cable, close other serial apps/tabs, try RESET. Laptop uses Chrome/Edge. Choose Espressif / USB JTAG serial.
- Android: Chrome, HTTPS and USB host/OTG; accept both permissions. If CDC is blocked, use a laptop. iPhone/iPad USB is unavailable.
- No sunrise: check clock, days and start time. An already-on bulb skips the occurrence; a dismissed occurrence stays dismissed across reset.
- Power cut: without NTP, set the board clock over USB. Wi-Fi loss keeps a powered board's clock running.
- No remote: keep it awake during binding, check cluster results and test with XIAO unplugged. Group binding is not implemented; export the report.
- Startup: native read-back still needs a wall-cycle test. Fallback cannot apply unless the bulb rejoins.
